Happy Nacho Tuesday! Is that a thing? If not, I’m making it a thing. The holidays are over, I’m heading back to school soon, and it’s almost Super Bowl, which means one thing – SNACKS. These gluten free nacho crackers made with Simple Mills Fine Ground Sea Salt Almond Flour Crackers are a fun take on one of my favorite snacks.
I’ve been a big fan of Simple Mills for a long time, and have been fortunate enough to attend some of their events in NYC and at the Food & Nutrition Conference in DC in October. They stand for everything I believe food should be – simple, nutrient-dense, whole food ingredients in every product. While I’m not 100% gluten free, I love to switch it up every once in a while, to make sure I’m consuming a variety of foods and nutrients.
I like to make these loaded cracker nachos as a yummy snack before my evening class, for a Friday movie night on the couch, or watching Sunday football (sadly, I did not win my fantasy football this year). I picked up these Simple Mills crackers snack packs at Whole Foods, and while they’re a great option as better-for-you crackers in January, I love them for the whole year. Plus, Simple Mills has a huge selection of other products like cookies, baking mixes, and frostings – perfect for any craving and occasion.
