STRAWBERRY CHIA JAM

A simple recipe with no added sugar, loaded with all the benefits of chia seeds!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ΒΌ cup chia seeds
Instructions
  1. De-stem and chop strawberries into smaller pieces
  2. Add strawberries to a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, until the juices run and start to smell sweet
  3. Remove from heat, add lemon juice and chia seeds
  4. Let sit and cool for 5-10 minutes before placing into a mason jar or other container for storage in the fridge up to three weeks
Notes
For added sweetness, drizzle in 1 tablespoon of honey when you add lemon juice
